Artist Statement

Alicia Williams: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia; Alicia Williams is a Brisbane based artist majoring in drawing and painting. Her imagery concentrates on line, form and repetition. Abstraction, symbolism and the mind of the subconscious (distortion) also influence the visual aesthetics within her pieces. Alicia sources environmentally friendly materials for her mixed media pieces. Alicia expresses her emotional state to develop abstract works on paper.
